Regular baths can be started once your baby’s umbilical cord has fallen off and the area has completely healed, while sponge baths are recommended until then. Your baby can be bathed 2–3 times a week using lukewarm water and a gentle bathing bar such as Tedibar. It is advisable not to bathe your baby immediately after feeding or when your baby is hungry or tired. Instead, choose a bathing time that suits both your schedule and your baby’s daily routine. The ideal bathwater temperature for your baby is 37–37.5°C. Before placing your baby in the water, always check the temperature carefully to ensure it is neither too hot nor too cold, helping make bath time safe and comfortable.
