Women's basketball Wooribank wins 12th championship
Woori Bank has won its 12th championship in women's professional basketball.
Woori Bank defeated regular-season champion KB 78-72 in Game 4 of the championship finals at Yi Sunshin Gymnasium in Asan, Chungcheongnam-do, to win the title with a 3-1 series victory.
With the win, Woori increased its WKBL record to 12 championships, the most in the league's history.
Woori Bank's Kim Dan-bi was named MVP of the championship game for the second consecutive year.
