The LPL T20, also known as the Lanka Premier League Twenty20, is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Sri Lanka. The format and rules of the LPL T20 ID are quite similar to other popular T20 leagues such as the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Big Bash League (BBL).
Format:
- The tournament consists of six teams representing different cities or regions in Sri Lanka.
- Each team plays against each other twice during the round-robin stage, resulting in a total of 30 matches.
- The top four teams from the round-robin stage qualify for the playoffs, which include two semi-finals and a final.
